Purpose of Joey's Studio

I have been teaching since I was in grade school. I have taught students from elementary through to undergrad in university. Students that have a tough time keeping up for various reasons tend to do better with 1-on-1 lessons. Students that want to increase their odds of winning scholarships need somewhere to apply and compete for said scholarships. Joey's Studio is a non-profit that gives back to the students, employees, and the community. The bigger Joey's Studio grows, the more we can give back.

I have worked with many educators, schools, and companies. All of them want to hire employees that have directly transferable experience and skills. This leads to a vicious cycle. You need experience to get a job but, you need a job to get experience. Joey's Studio solves this problem by never requiring a degree for a job and by creating various opportunities for students and employees.

We are contributing knowledge at a pace that the students feel comfortable with. We also contribute a learning experience for the employees that will teach them how to deal with the everyday situations when employed at a school or organization along with the behind the scenes of teaching.
